The majority of students in Floyd County School Districts were white in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

Among the 14,676 students attending Floyd County schools, 52.3% were white. Hispanic students were the second most common ethnicity, making up 23.1% of Floyd County student body.

In the previous school year, white students were also the most common ethnicity in Floyd County School Districts, representing 53.3% of the student body.

Rome City School District had the most even distribution of races among county school districts, which included 38% of Hispanic students, 33% of African American students, 22% of white students, and 2% of Asian students.

In the 2022-23 school year, the total number of students enrolled in school districts in the county increased slightly when compared to the previous year.

The main offices of all districts mentioned in the story are located in cities associated with Floyd County.
