Calhoun City Schools and the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce organized the 2025 PAGE Region One STAR Banquet on February 25 at Georgia Northwestern Technical College. The event highlighted the achievements of students and teachers from 22 schools across Northwest Georgia.
Among those recognized were Calhoun High School’s STAR students, Caleb Riley and Elliot Stephens, along with their STAR teachers, India Galyean and Kelli DeGuire. They were honored by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) for their exceptional accomplishments.
The organizers expressed gratitude to the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce and Georgia Northwestern Technical College for supporting this event that celebrated educational excellence.
