There were 3,943 students enrolled in Calhoun City Schools District in the 2022-23 school year, 0.5% less than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51% of them were male, and 49% were female.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 49% of the Calhoun City Schools District's total enrollment.

Calhoun City Schools District roughly covers five schools within Gordon County and has a main office in Calhoun.

Among the five schools in Calhoun City Schools District, Calhoun High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,269 students in the 2022-23 school year.

According to the Georgia Department of Education, over 1.6 million students were enrolled in Georgia's public schools during the 2021-22 school year. The state boasted a diverse and closely distributed student body across grade levels, with roughly 44% of the students in elementary, 24.5% in middle school, and 31.5% in high schools.
