Greene, a native of Milledgeville, Georgia, born in 1974 and residing in Rome, has been vocal in her political endeavors since her graduation from the University of Georgia in 1996.

On April 17, 2025, Greene shared her concerns about the behavior of certain individuals attending her town hall. In a tweet, she raised alarm regarding "the insane violent social media posts from Democrats arrested at my town hall," asserting that local Democrats were misrepresenting these individuals as "just innocent constituents, but they are not." In her concluding remarks, Greene praised the police for ensuring the event's safety and success. She contrasted her views with those of her political opponents, stating, "Democrats are the party of violence and insanity. They have lost their way."
