Calhoun High School recently held its 19th annual National Beta Club induction ceremony, where 61 students were welcomed as new members. The National Beta Club is recognized as the largest independent academic organization in the United States, emphasizing achievement, leadership, service, and character.

Students aspiring to join this prestigious club are required to maintain a GPA of 90 or above and submit an application supported by teacher recommendations. The school community expressed pride in the dedication shown by these students.

Acknowledgments were given to outgoing officers Morgan Allen, Caleb Riley, Georgia Smith, Heli Patel, Sara Elise Gallman, and Kate Watson for their leadership. The event also marked the introduction of new officers: Tyler Robinson, Fairy Patel, Debora Lopez, Tanvi Dhavade, Jaylan Moore, and William Anderson.

Gratitude was extended to Beta Club sponsors Carol Gomez and Angie Prater for their ongoing support and guidance.
