Calhoun Primary hosts annual Math Mania competition celebrating student achievement

Calhoun Primary School held its 14th Annual Math Mania Competition on February 21, 2025. The event is designed to honor students who are in the top 10% of their grade levels based on Winter Math MAP scores.

The school congratulated all participants for their efforts and highlighted the top performers for maintaining Calhoun's tradition of excellence.

The winners for each grade level were announced as follows: In first grade, Emmett Rush took first place, followed by Brock Olney and Asher Williams. For second grade, Elliot Young secured the top spot with Aaron Olmedo and Jocelyn Jiang coming in second and third respectively. In third grade, Jericho Pang was awarded first place, Camden Duncan came second, and Cohen Samples finished third.

Additionally, gratitude was extended to Calhoun High School Engineering students for designing and crafting the competition medals, which added a unique element to this year's event.
