Cedartown Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on February 28

Cedartown issued the following announcement on Feb. 10

The Cedartown Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 28 at 10 a.m. regarding the rezoning and annexation of 47 acres of land located in the area of Evergreen Road and Cherokee Circle.

This land is being sought for a proposed housing development.

On Monday, March 14 at 6 p.m., the Cedartown City Commission will hold a public hearing to listen to comments for or against the rezoning and annexation of the above-mentioned land and proposed housing development.

Both public hearings will take place inside the council room at City Hall, 201 East Avenue, in Cedartown.
