Cedartown issued the following announcement on Nov. 30
It's not to late to take part in the Cedartown Christmas Parade! The parade is Saturday, December 4 at 6 p.m.
If you would like to be in the parade, you've got until 5 p.m. today to get your application in. (You can email it to amadden@cedartowngeorgia.gov to save yourself a trip to City Hall.

Don't forget that musicians from Southland Soul will perform LIVE Christmas music before and after the parade. Santa will be at Holloway Park prior to the parade to light the great tree and he'll be there after the parade for photos! We heard something about a football game being played that day as well, and for those of you torn between Santa and the gridiron, we will be projecting the big game on the side of the Cedarstream building so you can keep score.
Healthcare workers: We're inviting all of you to be our grand marshals this year and lead the parade. If you would like to participate, please gather on Marietta Street no later than 5:30 p.m. on December 4.
