The February Board Meeting featured a variety of highlights, beginning with Ms. Elise Hartley's Kindergarten Blue Bunnies leading the Pledge of Allegiance and sharing their "good things." The meeting celebrated notable achievements, including those of CHS 2025 PAGE STAR students Elliot Stephens and Caleb Riley. Their accomplishments were supported by their dedicated STAR teachers, Kelli DeGuire and India Galyean.

Recognition was also given to Sara Pass from Calhoun Middle School, who emerged as the District Spelling Bee Champion.

Additionally, the board acknowledged Principals and Assistant Principals for receiving the Ready Georgia Seal of Preparedness. This award is a significant honor that all five Calhoun City Schools achieved, underscoring the important support provided by community partners in education and public safety.

A message of gratitude was extended to the Board of Education for their ongoing commitment to celebrating student and staff success. The event concluded with an expression of unity: "United We Stand. Together We Swarm! #proudtobeayellowjacket."
