4.6% of Floyd County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Floyd County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.6% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 2,082 people out of the 98,210 living in Floyd County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Floyd County has decreased compared to the 5.6% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Floyd County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.5%.
