GRANT WALRAVEN, CLERK OF SUPERIOR COURT, would like to notify all Gordon County residents of a new jury scam circulating. Mr. Walraven states that citizens are called and told they have missed jury duty and that they have to pay a fine, they have a bench warrant issued or they could be arrested. The scammers could even use my name, our local judges and law enforcement names. If you have any questions about jury duty, please call the Clerk of Superior Court’s office at 706-629-9533.
