Men's Golfer of the Week
Carson Castelli, Greensboro - The senior from Greensboro, North Carolina placed tied for second out of 90 golfers at the Gate City Invitational last week by shooting a four-under par 209. In the three-round event, Castelli opened with a two-under par 69 and finished with back-to-back one-under par 70s. Also Nominated: Jonathan Lewis, Methodist; Quin Foster, Pfeiffer.
Men's Golf Rookie of the Week
Jonathan Lewis, Methodist - The freshman from Yorba Linda, California placed tied for fourth of 90 golfers at the Gate City Invitational last week by shooting a three-under par 210. In the three-round event, Lewis opened with a one-under par 70, followed by a one-over par 72, and finished with a three-under par 68. Also Nominated: Brandon Allen, Pfeiffer; Brogan Bennett, Southern Virginia.

Women's Golfer of the Week
Jillian Drinkard, Methodist - The graduate student from Appomattox, Virginia has competed in two tournaments over the past two weeks. On September 19, Drinkard placed tied for fifth out of 93 golfers at the Division III National Preview by shooting a five-over par 149. In the two-round event, Drinkard opened with a two-over par 74 and finished with a three-over par 75. Last week, Drinkard placed tied for 12th out of 77 golfers at the Montgomery Country Club Invitational shooting a four-over par 148. In the two-round event, Drinkard opened with a one-under par 71 and finished with a five-over par 77. Also Nominated: Erin Donovan, Piedmont; Rosie Oettli, Southern Virginia.
Women's Golf Rookie of the Week
Erin Donovan, Piedmont - The freshman from Southaven, Mississippi placed tied for 20th out of 77 golfers at the Montgomery Country Club Invitational shooting a seven-over par 151. In the two-round event, Donovan opened with a one-over par 73 and finished with a six-over par 78. Also Nominated: Briana Willis, Huntingdon; Jordan Blake, Pfeiffer; CC Banz, Southern Virginia.
