Of the 17,088 people living in Calhoun in 2020, 53.3 percent (9,113) were women and 46.7 percent (7,975) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rome Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 566. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,364 females and 803 males.
