Of the 1,136 people living in Fairmount in 2020, 52.1 percent (592) were women and 47.9 percent (544) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rome Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 45. In the 65 and over age range, there were 109 females and 56 males.
