The Rockmart Police Department is raising funds and taking donations to help implement and sustain a K9 program here in Rockmart.
The use of a trained K9 and his/her handler has been shown to be a great asset for public safety. The K9 unit can be utilized to locate missing persons, apprehend dangerous criminals and remove more illegal dangerous drugs from our streets.
