Cedartown issued the following announcement on Oct. 28
We're searching for individuals/businesses/churches and civic clubs interested in helping with a very important community project on November 13.
The City received a grant to provide a new playground structure for Bert Wood Park and now it's ready to be assembled!
Let's work together to put it together for our kids! If you are interested in helping out during our community build day, shoot an email over to Oscar Guzman at oguzman@cedartownshows.com.
Walk-up, day-of volunteering is fine if you're not sure of your plans that day, but if you'd like a T-shirt and lunch on us, you'll need to email us and tell us you're on board!
The fun begins at 8 a.m.
