Cedartown issued the following announcement on Sept. 28
The City of Cedartown has a fabulous fall event planned for October and we would love for you to participate!
It's the BOO! Bash at Bert Wood -- specifically designed for kids age 3 to 12. We're pulling together organizations and businesses from the community to offer our local youth fun and FREE games.
If this premise sounds familiar, it's because we had a similar event in 2019 called Spooky Spokes. This is pretty much the same event, but with a different name.
The date of the event is Saturday, October 16 from 4 until 7 p.m. at Bert Wood Park in Cedartown (Lynton Drive). We will be spreading out across the football field.
The event is designed to bring the community together to offer FREE, old-fashioned fall fun to local children. This is a family-friendly event; gory and scary decorations are not allowed. Selling of products is also not allowed.
We invite civic clubs, community organizations, churches, and businesses to take part in the fun by setting up a booth and joining in the fun. Keep in mind that this event is geared towards children, so booths should have an activity or activities that is/are suitable for several different ages.
