Of the 4,789 people living in Lindale in 2019, 55.5 percent (2,656) were women and 44.5 percent (2,133) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rome Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,718-to-1,271. In the 65 and over age range, there were 465 females and 241 males.
