Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, a member of the U.S. Congress since 2021, has recently voiced several positions on political and social issues via her social media posts. In a tweet dated May 1, 2025, Greene suggested significant procedural changes in the Senate and the redrawing of House district lines. She stated that “If Republicans are serious about saving America, we should get rid of the 60 vote rule in the Senate, and immediately call for a census counting ONLY American citizens and then redraw House district lines based on a population count of American citizens only.”

On the same day, Greene commented on gender-affirming medical procedures for children. She stated, “Sex change operations on children are barbaric child abuse. Genital mutilation is something that should NEVER happen in the United States.” Greene highlighted her legislative efforts through the Protect Children’s Innocence Act, which aims to criminalize these surgical operations by making them felonies.
