Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who represents Georgia’s 14th District in the U.S. Congress since 2021, took to social media to voice her support for former President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office. Greene, born in Milledgeville, Georgia, in 1974, and a University of Georgia graduate, commented extensively on Trump’s policies and their impact, particularly focusing on issues related to border control and economic factors.
On April 28, 2025, Greene posted, “Today, I’m at the @WhiteHouse speaking with the press about the most successful first 100 Days of any president in history! Thanks to President Trump: Border apprehensions have plummeted. Illegal alien thugs are being deported, making our communities safer.” Her remarks highlighted a decrease in border apprehensions and deportation efforts as marking success under Trump’s administration.
Later that day, Greene reiterated her praise for Trump on social media, emphasizing local impacts, saying “President Trump has done a WONDERFUL job in his first 100 days! We are seeing the positive effects of his policies right at home in Georgia. Inflation is down, gas & eggs are cheaper, & hundreds of thousands of jobs are being created.”
In another post, also from April 28, Greene critiqued Senate Democrat Jon Ossoff and others, expressing, “Senator Jon Ossoff and his Democrat colleagues support open borders and men competing in women’s sports. This November, the American people soundly rejected the left’s gender insanity and made it clear that they want illegal alien thugs out of our country.” Her comments reflect ongoing debates concerning immigration and gender topics.
Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to serve in Congress representing Georgia’s 14th District, a position she has held since replacing Tom Graves in 2021. At 48, she resides in Rome, Georgia.
