Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress, shared several statements on social media regarding government spending and political agendas. Greene, who represents Georgia’s 14th district, expressed concerns over government expenditure and advocated for policies aligned with former President Trump.

On April 8, 2025, Greene criticized federal spending, stating that “The federal government’s MASSIVE real estate portfolio and EXCESSIVE spending on luxury furniture has resulted in BILLIONS of dollars going to WASTE.” She highlighted the challenges young Americans face in purchasing homes and contrasted it with government spending, asking, “Why shouldn’t the government?”

Later the same day, Greene emphasized the importance of the MAGA agenda, asserting that it is “the number one issue for the American people.” She declared her support for President Trump, mentioning the responsibility Congress holds to act on the mandate provided by the public to enact these policies.

In a subsequent message, Greene described the necessity for Congress to align with President Trump, stating that “Congress has to work lockstep with President Trump to pass his agenda.” She stressed the need to execute priorities from tax reform to border security and codify his executive orders, emphasizing the directive from the voting populace to implement these changes.
