Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Congresswoman from Georgia, expressed strong support for former President Donald Trump and his positions on election reforms in a series of posts made on August 18, 2025.

In her first post at 11:24 a.m., Greene stated, “I strongly support President Trump in ending mail in voting!! Elections have been stolen for decades with this practice that is ripe for fraud. Save America by saving our elections!!!”

Later the same day at 1:37 p.m., she highlighted her legislative efforts and Trump’s backing, writing, “And this is why President Trump also supports my bill, Making American Elections Great Again Act!m – HR 4798!! It calls for a new census immediately counting American citizens, calls for reapportionment based on the citizen only count, and requires proof of citizenship to vote”.

At 5:22 p.m., Greene commented on congressional procedures as lawmakers prepared to return from recess: “Congress goes back in session on September 2nd, after being out on ‘district work period’ for 5 weeks. We are constitutionally required to fund the government by September 30th. There are 12 Appropriation bills that fund the government. The House has passed 2 out of 12”.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has consistently secured her seat in recent elections. In the most recent contest in 2024, she won against Shawn Harris with approximately 64% of the vote; prior victories include defeating Marcus Flowers in 2022 and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with similar margins.
