Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, shared her views on social media regarding the involvement of men in women’s sports. The congresswoman has been vocal about her stance against this issue, as reflected in her recent tweets.
On May 7, 2025, Greene posted about a hearing conducted by the House Committee on Oversight and Reform’s Subcommittee on Government Operations and Environment (DOGECommittee). She stated, “Payton McNabb & Stephanie Turner praying before our @DOGECommittee hearing today FIGHTING to keep men out of women’s sports. Please God, be with us today. Help us fight this evil.”
Later that day, she released an opening statement emphasizing the impact of current policies on female athletes. In her words, “Female athletes are being injured, disqualified, and pushed out of their own sports, all because woke organizations like USA Fencing are letting biological men invade women’s competition. Today, my @DOGECommittee is holding them accountable.”
In another tweet from May 7th, Greene criticized Fatima Graves, who testified as a Democrat witness during the committee session. She expressed her disapproval by stating that Graves claims expertise in women’s rights but supports men’s participation in women’s sports: “Democrat witnesses Fatima Graves claims she’s an expert on women’s rights… yet she doesn’t even know what a woman is!! Fatima Graves wants MEN in WOMEN’S SPORTS! This is who the Democrats are.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996.
