Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative who recently secured re-election in 2024, has used her social media platform to express concerns about economic pressures facing American families and government spending priorities.
On November 1, 2025, Greene addressed the ongoing effects of inflation and congressional spending in a post stating, “I represent a district where families are barely getting by. Prices may have come down, but inflation is still crushing Americans because Congress kept pumping money for COVID spending.
I’m a big fan of President Trump, and my angst is with my colleagues in Congress. They’ve” (November 1, 2025).
Later that day, she voiced opposition to taxpayer-funded benefits for undocumented immigrants: “It’s completely wrong that the American taxpayer is forced to foot the bill for so many others, including health insurance for illegal aliens!!
I came from the private sector. If we can make things work there, then our government can too. But in Washington, it’s always a fight.” (November 1, 2025).
On November 2, Greene reiterated her commitment to national interests with the message: “Good morning
As a U.S. Representative, I’m America Only!
Thank you for your attention to this matter!” (November 2, 2025).
Greene has represented her district since winning election in 2020 and has consistently maintained significant support among voters. In the most recent general election held in 2024, she defeated Shawn Harris with approximately 64.4% of the vote. She previously won against Marcus Flowers in 2022 with nearly two-thirds of the vote and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with over seventy percent.
