Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, shared her perspectives on recent political issues through a series of tweets on June 6, 2025.

In her first tweet, Greene expressed disbelief over Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr’s decision not to sign a letter addressing concerns about artificial intelligence. She emphasized the importance of defending Georgia’s people from the uncertain future posed by AI and criticized Carr’s actions in light of potential political ambitions. “I can’t believe GA AG, Chris Carr, did NOT sign onto this letter.”

Later that day, Greene reiterated her commitment to serving the American people in Congress rather than engaging in online controversies. She stressed the significance of every vote and voice in democracy and declared her focus on achieving tangible results for her constituents. “Every voice matters. Every vote counts.”

Greene also voiced strong opposition to any legislative measures that could undermine states’ rights or allow unchecked advancement of AI technologies over the next decade. Highlighting concerns about job displacement due to AI, particularly within the press industry, she framed the issue as one transcending political affiliations and emphasized her dedication to federalism principles. “I will NOT vote for any bill that destroys states rights and lets AI run wild.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996.
