Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, representing Georgia’s 14th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, has recently shared her legislative priorities through a series of tweets. Greene, who succeeded Tom Graves and holds a BBA from the University of Georgia, is actively involved in various legislative efforts.

On July 9, 2025, Greene emphasized her stance on the Defense Appropriations Bill by stating “The Defense Appropriations Bill must put America First.” She mentioned her commitment to passing amendments aimed at saving taxpayers over $1.5 billion and expressed her unwillingness to support any bill that prioritizes foreign wars over domestic safety and security.

Later that day, she expressed gratitude towards Rep. Mary Miller for co-sponsoring her English Language Unity Act. In a tweet posted on July 9, 2025, she stated “Thank you @RepMaryMiller for co-sponsoring my English Language Unity Act!” She underscored the importance of codifying former President Trump’s executive order to make English the official language of the United States into law.

On July 10, 2025, Greene acknowledged Secretary Zeldin’s support for her proposed legislation concerning atmospheric interventions. Her tweet read “Thank you Secretary Zeldin!” The bill aims to prohibit the injection or dispersion of chemicals into the atmosphere for weather modification purposes and proposes making such actions a felony offense.

Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome.
