Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district, shared a series of tweets on July 4th and 5th, 2025. The tweets cover various topics including Independence Day celebrations and a legislative proposal.

On July 4, Greene expressed her holiday spirit with a tweet wishing everyone a happy Independence Day from Cave Spring, Georgia. She wrote “Happy Independence Day from Cave Spring, Georgia!!!”

Later that day, Greene shared another post featuring an image or video without additional commentary. The tweet simply included a link to the media here.

On July 5, she announced her intention to introduce new legislation regarding environmental concerns. In her tweet, she stated “I am introducing a bill that prohibits the injection, release, or dispersion of chemicals or substances into the atmosphere for the express purpose of altering weather, temperature, climate, or sunlight intensity. It will be a felony offense.” She also mentioned her ongoing research into weather-related issues.

Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1996. She resides in Rome and has been representing Georgia’s 14th District since succeeding Tom Graves in 2021.
