Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a series of messages on social media between April 5 and April 6, 2026, addressing religious themes and political criticism.
On April 5, Greene shared an Easter greeting: “Happy Easter! He is risen!! Just as He said.” Later that morning, she commented on a post by former President Donald Trump, stating: “On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted. Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness. I know all of you and him and he”. On April 6, Greene referenced the upcoming tax deadline with another message: “With April 15th approaching, it feels appropriate to repost this one about a tax revolt.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene has represented Georgia’s 14th district in the U.S. Congress since replacing Tom Graves in 2021. She was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome at age 48. In previous elections, Greene won against Shawn Harris in 2024 with approximately 64% of the vote, Marcus Flowers in 2022 with nearly 66%, and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with almost 75%.
