Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia, recently posted a series of statements on her social media account addressing upcoming congressional actions and expressing support for American-focused policies.

On August 20, 2025, Greene commented on the legislative process in Congress, stating “Congress is headed toward another Sept. 30th CR. I won’t vote for it. We’ve only passed 2 of 12 appropriations bills. It’s time to fight for the American people, not foreign interests.” The post refers to an impending continuing resolution (CR) deadline and her opposition to its passage due to incomplete appropriations work.

The following morning, on August 21, Greene greeted her supporters with “Good morning to my America Only friends “, reinforcing her focus on domestic priorities.

Later that day, she congratulated Howard Lutnick via social media: “Congratulations @howardlutnick! Thank you for working so hard to make trade fair again and put the American economy FIRST!!! “

Greene has maintained strong electoral support in recent years. In the 2024 general election, she defeated Shawn Harris with 64.4% of the vote; in 2022, she prevailed over Marcus Flowers with 65.9%; and in 2020, she won against Kevin Van Ausdal with 74.7%. These results reflect consistent backing from her constituency across multiple election cycles.
