U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, used her social media account on November 4, 2025, to clarify her stance regarding former President Donald Trump and recent comments about voting preferences.

In a post published at 19:55 UTC, Greene stated, “I literally say ‘I love Donald Trump.’ That’s not MTG breaks with Trump!” On the same day at 19:55 UTC, she reiterated her support for the former president by posting, “I again say, ‘I like Donald Trump’ and go on to express how thankful I am for his administration’s border and immigration policies.” Shortly after, at 19:56 UTC, Greene addressed speculation about her political alignment by stating, “I did not attack President Trump, I simply said how I would vote if I lived in New York City. I would vote Republican!”

Greene has represented Georgia’s 14th congressional district since 2021. She has consistently secured reelection victories over Democratic challengers in recent cycles. In the 2024 general election, she defeated Shawn Harris with approximately 64.4% of the vote; in 2022 she won against Marcus Flowers with nearly 65.9%; and in 2020 she prevailed over Kevin Van Ausdal with roughly 74.7%.
