Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various national issues. Greene, born in Milledgeville, Georgia, and a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA, has been vocal about her concerns regarding national security and federalism.

On June 8, 2025, Greene questioned potential foreign influences on domestic issues through her tweet: “Is this war on ICE and America being funded by Neville Singham. Is it being funded by China? Was BLM riots funded by China? Is Antifa Communists funded by China? Are the cartels linked? This is an actual war being waged against our country.”

Later that day, she expressed gratitude towards law enforcement agencies for their efforts to uphold immigration laws. She stated: “Thank you for defending ICE and federal law enforcement as they arrest and remove people breaking our laws. End the insurrection in LA!!!”

In another tweet from June 8, Greene criticized a legislative proposal affecting state regulation of artificial intelligence (AI). She wrote: “If states can’t regulate AI for 10 years, we’re no better than China. This poison-pill clause DESTROYS federalism. President Trump never campaigned on destroying states rights for AI. We need to protect American jobs and American workers, not replace them with machines.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene currently resides in Rome, Georgia.
