Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th District since 2021, recently posted several proposals on social media, voicing her legislative ambitions. Greene, born in 1974 in Milledgeville, Georgia, and a University of Georgia graduate, has been vocal about her legislative objectives.

On April 30, 2025, Greene expressed her advocacy for significant tax reforms. She emphasized “NO TAX ON TIPS. NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY. NO TAX ON OVERTIME.” She urged Congress to pass a comprehensive bill addressing these taxation issues.

Also on April 30, 2025, Greene highlighted her initiative for geographic recognition, advocating for her Gulf of America Act. She called for the Gulf of America to be permanently recognized in all 50 states, irrespective of the sitting U.S. President.

Later that day, Greene mentioned her support for her Trump-endorsed language proposal. She affirmed her commitment to promoting the English Language Unity Act, which seeks to establish English as the nation’s official language. Greene stressed the importance of communication for national unity, calling for Congress to advance this bill.
