Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative from Georgia, posted a series of statements on her official Twitter account in late July 2025, expressing support for President Donald Trump’s administration and recent actions related to border security, immigration enforcement, and proposed changes to the U.S. census.

On July 29, 2025, Greene wrote: “Thank you, President Trump! After decades of defending foreign borders while our own was wide open, America’s border is finally secure. Thank God President Trump is back in the White House! “

The following day, she highlighted recent law enforcement activity by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Houston: “ICE Houston has arrested more child sex offenders in the last 6 months than were arrested the entire year of 2024. Thank you @ICEgov for protecting America’s children!!! This is exactly what we voted for.” This statement comes amid ongoing debates about immigration policy and public safety.

Later on July 30, Greene announced new legislative efforts regarding election procedures and population counts: “MAKING AMERICAN ELECTIONS GREAT AGAIN! My bill… ORDERS a new census upon enactment, counting only U.S. citizens REQUIRES states to redraw congressional districts based on this new citizen-only count RESCHEDULES the next census for 10 years after the completion of”

Greene’s comments reflect her continued alignment with former President Trump’s policies and priorities. She has maintained strong electoral support in her district over multiple election cycles; in 2024 she defeated Shawn Harris with 64.4% of the vote, following previous victories against Marcus Flowers in 2022 and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020.
