Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who represents Georgia’s 14th district in the U.S. Congress and has served since 2021, posted a series of statements on her Twitter account addressing recent political developments and ongoing international conflicts.
On May 11, 2026, Greene referenced the expiration of the statute of limitations to prosecute Dr. Anthony Fauci. She wrote, “Today the statute of limitations expires to prosecute Fauci. I told Fauci to his face he should go to prison for crimes against humanity. He lied under oath and Trump’s DOJ should not allow him to get away with it. Fauci’s so called “science” destroyed people’s lives.”
Continuing her commentary on global affairs, Greene commented on May 12, 2026 about the ongoing conflict in Iran and its broader geopolitical implications: “The war in Iran must be going worse than we know as the Strait remains closed. So much so that China may be allowed to build $1 Trillion in factories in the U.S. probably in exchange for help with Iran. I’m old enough to remember when MAGA was demanding China not be allowed to”
Later that same day, she addressed economic issues related to inflation and fuel prices: “Inflation is rising and gas is over $4.50 per gallon all because Trump went to war with Iran. Not at all what America voted for.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene has been a prominent figure in Republican politics since succeeding Tom Graves in Congress in 2021. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974, she currently resides in Rome at age 48. Her electoral history includes victories over Kevin Van Ausdal (2020), Marcus Flowers (2022), and Shawn Harris (2024), consistently securing more than sixty percent of the vote.
