Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, representing Georgia’s 14th district, posted a series of statements on her social media account between August 31 and September 1, 2025. The tweets address the return of Congress to session, her stance on COVID-19 vaccines, and support for healthcare workers critical of vaccine mandates.

On August 31, Greene commented on the reopening of Congress: “Congress finally goes back in session this week. And I’m so thankful I get to return to a crime free Washington DC!!! Thank you President Trump!!! Thank you National Guard!!!”

The following day, she reiterated her opposition to COVID-19 vaccine mandates: “I will never be silent about this. I absolutely adamantly refused to get the Covid vaccine and I, and many others like me, are extremely glad we did NOT get the mandated vaccines. I also have great empathy for all of those who were forced to take it in order to keep their jobs”.

Later that same day, Greene expressed solidarity with healthcare professionals voicing concerns about vaccines: “I’m sharing this with President Trump. I stand with this paramedic and ALL the doctors, nurses, and every single person who tried their best to sound the alarm and every victim and casualty of Big Pharma’s vaccines.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene has been a prominent figure in national politics since first winning election in 2020. She secured reelection in subsequent cycles: defeating Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with nearly 75% of the vote; Marcus Flowers in 2022 with approximately 66%; and Shawn Harris in 2024 with over 64%. Throughout her tenure, Greene has maintained vocal positions on issues related to public health policy and government mandates.
