Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, has recently shared her views on several legislative issues via social media. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia, and currently residing in Rome, Greene graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in 1996.

On June 3, 2025, Rep. Greene expressed her opposition to a specific section of the OBBB that she discovered on pages 278-279. She stated “Full transparency, I did not know about this section on pages 278-279 of the OBBB that strips states of the right to make laws or regulate AI for 10 years.” She emphasized her strong opposition by declaring it a violation of state rights and noted she would have voted against it had she been aware.

Later that day, Greene took to social media again to voice her support for budget cuts under the DOGE recision bill. She declared “I will vote for EVERY SINGLE DOGE CUT!!!” questioning the Republican Party’s resolve if they fail to support cutting $9 billion as proposed in the bill. Her remarks highlighted her stance against what she perceives as excessive government spending.

In another post made on June 3rd, Greene criticized non-governmental organizations (NGOs), referring to them as “Democrat Party’s shadow army.” She accused these organizations of misusing taxpayer funds to support illegal immigration and promote policies like the Green New Deal. Greene announced an upcoming event by her @DOGECommittee aimed at exposing alleged waste and fraud associated with these activities.

Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to be an outspoken figure within Congress since replacing Tom Graves in representing Georgia’s 14th District.
