Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, recently shared her views on fiscal responsibility through a series of tweets. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia, and currently residing in Rome, Greene graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a BBA.

On May 21, 2025, Rep. Greene addressed the issue of national debt via social media. She stated that “Our national debt is a threat to all of us, and many things have to happen to reduce it.” She emphasized the importance of passing DOGE cuts (recessions) to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse while reducing the size of the federal government.

In another tweet posted on the same day, she reiterated her stance by stating “We should DOGE everyday.” She argued that voting to cut waste, fraud, and abuse should be prioritized by Congress as demanded by their supporters who helped secure their majority.

Later that day, Greene posted a tweet with two links without any accompanying text or context: “https://t.co/A2vq2MqrA9 https://t.co/ErScbID5vr”.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has been an active political figure since replacing Tom Graves in Congress in 2021. Her focus remains on issues such as reducing government spending and addressing national debt concerns.
