Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative from Georgia, recently shared a series of posts on her X (formerly Twitter) account addressing policy issues and public concerns, including decisions by the State Department, property taxes, and an interview with journalist Megyn Kelly.

On August 19, 2025, Greene commented on actions by the State Department involving children. She stated: “Two recent decisions made by the State Department both involve children. We need to be the America that allows war torn children to come here for life saving surgeries and the America that never releases a foreign child sex predator that our great LEO’s caught. Later that day, Greene advocated for major changes to property taxation in the United States. In her post she wrote: “Hi. We need to completely abolish property taxes. It forces us to pay “rent” to the government on property that we own, but if we don’t pay property taxes, the property that we own gets taken away from us. That should never happen in a free country. Secondly, health insurance” (August 19, 2025).

On August 20, 2025, Greene promoted her media appearance with Megyn Kelly by sharing: “Here is my full interview with Megyn Kelly! Let me know what you think! https://t.co/f9YcGLdE12”.

Greene has maintained a prominent role in Georgia politics since first winning her congressional seat in 2020 against Kevin Van Ausdal with nearly 75% of the vote. She continued her electoral success by defeating Marcus Flowers in 2022 and Shawn Harris in 2024 with more than 64% of votes in each race.
