Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative from Georgia, posted a series of statements on her social media account in January 2026 addressing government debt and legislative initiatives during her final days in Congress.
On January 12, Greene commented on the national debt and its impact on Americans: “With nearly $40 trillion dollars in government forced debt, or slavery, Americans can barely make ends meet, are buried in debt of all kinds, and can’t financially get ahead. I really don’t care about foreign countries. Of course I care about people and wish them well, but I’m”.
The following day, January 13, she highlighted two bills she introduced before leaving office: “In my last days in Congress, I introduced two bills. HR 6937 completely and responsibly eliminates the H1B Visa program. HR 6936 requires ID and proof of citizenship to vote in all federal elections. Protecting Americans rights and homeland requires protecting Americans jobs”.
Later that same day, Greene posted another message containing only an emoji: ” https://t.co/davV6uDlxe”.
Greene has served multiple terms as a U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 14th congressional district. She won reelection campaigns against Shawn Harris in 2024 with 64.4% of the vote, Marcus Flowers in 2022 with 65.9%, and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with 74.7%.
