Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district, shared her perspectives on various legislative and political issues through a series of tweets on June 4, 2025. Greene has been an active voice in Congress since replacing Tom Graves in 2021.

In a tweet posted at 00:32:58 UTC, Greene expressed her dissatisfaction with the financial implications of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” (OBBB). She stated, “Do I like the price tag of the One Big Beautiful Bill? No.” Despite her reservations about its cost, she emphasized that passing the OBBB is crucial for advancing the “America First MAGA mandate” that voters endorsed in November.

Later, at 01:53:33 UTC, Greene criticized what she described as “Illegal migration,” “Green New Deal scams,” and “Woke America Last nonsense.” She announced that the DOGE Committee would be investigating alleged waste and fraud associated with taxpayer-funded NGOs. She invited followers to tune into this event scheduled for 2 PM, stating, “@DOGECommittee is exposing the waste, fraud, and abuse behind the Democrat’s taxpayer-funded NGO racket TOMORROW.”

At 11:13:08 UTC, Greene expressed gratitude for having the opportunity to vote on several budget cuts proposed by her DOGE Subcommittee. These cuts target USAID, NPR, and CPB programs. She noted that hearings had been held to advocate for defunding these initiatives entirely and referred to them as essential steps towards implementing what she termed as “DOGE recession cuts.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996.
