Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, recently shared her thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets. Greene, born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently residing in Rome, expressed her anticipation for a legislative bill and commented on government spending.

On June 2, 2025, Rep. Greene posted about her anticipation for the “DOGE cuts bill,” saying “Me literally waiting on the DOGE cuts bill..”

In another tweet dated June 3, 2025, she extended gratitude to the Federal Bureau of Investigation with a brief message: “Thank you @FBI “

Later that day, Greene addressed government expenditure related to congressional travel. She stated that many members of Congress and Senators partake in codels (congressional delegations) approved by committee chairs worldwide. She advocated for reducing such expenditures by tweeting: “Codels are taken by many members of Congress and Senators and approved by chairs of committees. All over the world. We should stop excessive spending for Congress and Senators to travel to foreign countries. And we should stop sending our hard earned tax dollars to foreign”

Marjorie Taylor Greene graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
