Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Congress member representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, has been vocal on social media, sharing her views and comments on various issues. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974, Greene holds a BBA from the University of Georgia and resides in Rome.
On June 15, 2025, Marjorie Taylor Greene expressed appreciation for fathers with a tweet celebrating Father’s Day. She stated: “Happy Father’s Day!! Thank you to all the fathers out there that invest in their children. You truly shape their lives and our society as a result. Nothing is more important.”
Later that day, Greene commented on political affiliations and authenticity within the America First/MAGA movement. In her words: “Everyone is finding out who are real America First/MAGA and who were fake and just said it bc it was popular. Unfortunately the list of fakes are becoming quite long and exposed themselves quickly.” She criticized those advocating for full U.S. involvement in international conflicts, specifically mentioning an ongoing situation between Israel and Iran.
Continuing her discourse on foreign policy, Greene questioned claims regarding Iran’s nuclear capabilities with another tweet posted later that night: “Last week they said Iran was ‘days away from a nuclear bomb.’ Well it’s been ‘days’ now and Irans nuclear facilities are not destroyed. So does Iran have a nuclear bomb now that it’s been ‘days?’ They’ve been telling us for decades Iran was ‘only a few years’ or ‘only a few.”
Greene replaced Tom Graves when she began serving in Congress four years ago.
