Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative who has consistently secured re-election victories since 2020, addressed several national issues in a series of posts on September 8, 2025.

In her first post of the day, Greene commented on Congress’s legislative agenda and expressed support for the U.S. military while emphasizing domestic priorities. She wrote, “We can’t fix the rest of the world, but we CAN fix our own country – the United States of America. This week Congress will pass the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which funds our military – The Department of War. I fully support our great U.S. military, but I do not” (September 8, 2025).

Later that afternoon, Greene thanked former President Donald Trump for supporting her proposed legislation concerning gender-affirming care for minors. She stated, “Thank you, President Trump, for supporting my Protect Children’s Innocence Act, which has already passed out of the Judiciary Committee. We’re one step closer to permanently ending the barbaric, taxpayer-funded mutilation of children under the guise of ‘gender-affirming care.'” (September 8, 2025).

In another post published in the evening, Greene made a brief statement regarding an unspecified subject: “Yes. They’re all poison. Every single one of them.” (September 8, 2025).

Greene represents Georgia’s 14th congressional district and has maintained her seat through multiple election cycles: she won against Shawn Harris in 2024 with over sixty-four percent of the vote; defeated Marcus Flowers in 2022; and prevailed over Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with nearly seventy-five percent support.
