Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Congress member representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, recently shared her views on business and legislative initiatives through a series of tweets. Greene, who has been successful in business for nearly three decades, emphasized the importance of strategic spending to foster economic growth.

On July 3, 2025, Greene stated “I’ve been successful in business for almost 3 decades. Every successful business person knows you have to spend money to make money.” She advocated for the OBBB as a means to counteract what she described as the “Democrat’s America Last curse,” promoting it as an essential measure aligned with “America First” principles regarding tax and energy policies.

Later that day, Greene expressed gratitude for support from former President Trump concerning her legislative proposal aimed at election reform. She tweeted “I’m honored to have President Trump’s support for my Making American Elections Great Again Act! It’s simple. It’s common sense. And we must pass it.” The tweet was accompanied by a call to action linked through additional information.

Greene further encouraged engagement with her legislative efforts by directing followers to learn more about her bill via another tweet posted shortly after. She urged readers “Read more about my bill: https://t.co/hI4uxMEcMQ”, inviting them to explore the specifics of her proposed act.

Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996.
