Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently representing Georgia’s 14th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on her social media account criticizing U.S. and Israeli military actions in Iran, Gaza, and Lebanon.
On March 27, 2026, Greene wrote: “End the war in Iran. The U.S. should have never started it alongside Israel. This is not at all what the American people voted for and is leading America and the world in the wrong direction and is killing many innocent people.”
The following day, March 28, she continued her criticism by stating: “We should all confess just as JP has in this video. I am so antisemitic to think that the Israeli government and military killing innocent children in Gaza, Iran, and Lebanon is wrong. How unAmerican of me to criticize a foreign gov that we fund by the billions every year.”
Later on March 28, Greene added: “Israel has killed hundreds of journalists who have tried to expose the atrocities committed by IDF soldiers.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene was first elected to Congress in 2020 after defeating Kevin Van Ausdal with nearly three-quarters of the vote. She secured re-election in both 2022 against Marcus Flowers and again in 2024 against Shawn Harris with significant margins each time. Greene has served as Georgia’s representative since replacing Tom Graves in 2021. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974, she currently resides in Rome.
