Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a series of tweets on March 21 and 22, 2026, addressing international energy concerns and criticizing Senate Republicans for their handling of airport security funding.

On March 21, Greene wrote: “Energy lockdowns are starting in the ME and parts of Asia, with Europe likely being affected. Inflation is going to skyrocket and global food supplies will be affected. This war should not have happened and now many people will suffer including Americans. Unnecessary chaos.”

The following day, she commented on airport security delays at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport: “ATL TSA lines are a disaster, 4 hours at least. It’s all one big line. Senate Republicans can end this disaster by GETTING RID of their self imposed stupid filibuster rule and FUND Homeland. What’s the point in the majority if idiotic Republicans refuse to use it??!!” In a subsequent tweet on March 22, she added: “Senate Republicans don’t need Democrats if they would just ditch the filibuster and FUND Homeland. And no chaos for American taxpayers!!! Imagine if they actually governed, they might have a chance in the midterms. But yeah, shame of Democrats too!! Shame on ALL OF THEM.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene has represented Georgia’s 14th District in the U.S. Congress since replacing Tom Graves in 2021. She won her most recent election in 2024 against Shawn Harris with over sixty-four percent of the vote and previously defeated Marcus Flowers in 2022 and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 by similar margins. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974, Greene currently resides in Rome.
