Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has represented Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on her Twitter account between March 16 and March 18, 2026. The tweets focus on issues related to U.S. Senate actions, military policy under former President Trump, and her views on the direction of the MAGA movement.

On March 16, Greene criticized Senate Republicans over legislative gridlock, writing: “The Senate can’t even fund Homeland Security because Republican Senators can’t stop pearl clutching over the filibuster. But they are soon going to try to pass a near $100 Billion Trump Iran WAR supplemental because Trump is running through our ammunition and military supplies.”

A day later, she publicly supported Joe Kent with the post: “Joe Kent is a GREAT AMERICAN HERO. God bless him and protect him! https://t.co/7VZYhrOM5O” on March 17.

In her March 18 tweet, Greene expressed disappointment with the current state of the MAGA movement and its approach to foreign policy: “Heartbreaking THIS is what we thought MAGA was going to end. We believed Trump would end it because he told us he would. This is Trump’s new MAGA and I want nothing to do with it. Pray for our troopsbecause Trump is sacrificing them for Israel. https://t.co/kaVV8fWiyQ”

Greene has served in Congress since replacing Tom Graves in 2021 as representative for Georgia’s 14th District. She won her most recent re-election in 2024 against Shawn Harris with approximately 64% of the vote. Her earlier victories include defeating Marcus Flowers in 2022 and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 by significant margins.

Born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974, Greene currently resides in Rome at age 48.
