Marjorie Taylor Greene, a representative from Georgia’s 14th district, took to social media on April 29, 2025, to express her views on the recent political developments and the media landscape. Representing the district since 2021, Greene has been a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump.
In an April 29 post (“In just 100 days, border crossings are down 95%! President Trump has done more in this short time frame than Biden did in his whole term. I voted for this! HAPPY 100 DAYS!!”), Greene praised Trump’s administration for significantly reducing border crossings, contrasting Trump’s achievements in what she describes as a brief period to the previous administration.
Later the same day, Greene commented on a new media company she describes as a “pro-migrant newsletter” based on Capitol Hill (“There’s a new “media” company on the hill. A pro-migrant newsletter? Who is subscribing to this? Illegal aliens and Democrats? The same Democrats who support the invasion of illegal aliens into our country. Americans want nothing to do with these criminals and the chaos they”). She questioned its audience and criticized Democratic support of migrants.
Greene further discussed her skepticism towards media narratives and public opinion polls, aligning herself with Trump’s policies (“The people WANT and LOVE President Trump’s MAGA, America First policies! The media LIED about Hilary Clinton’s race in 2016, Russian collusion, COVID-19, & Hunter Biden’s laptop. Why would I believe their polls? Americans love President Trump and understand these polling”). She asserted that media has historically misled the public on various issues.
Marjorie Taylor Greene, a University of Georgia alumna, was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and resides in Rome, Georgia.
