U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a series of tweets on January 14 and 15, 2026, criticizing the H1B visa program and expressing skepticism about U.S. involvement in foreign affairs.
In her first post on January 14, Greene alleged fraud within the H1B visa system: “North Texas seems to have a serious H1B Visa fraud scam going. One immigration attorney brought in over 700K H1Bs in 2025 alone. If Republicans were serious about stopping it, they would pass my bill HR 6937 to eliminate the H1B Visa program.”
Later that day, she commented on U.S. foreign policy approaches: “Sounds familiar. The same old regime change playbook. And as usual, as I’ve been out and about talking to normal Americans, they want nothing to do with it. Americans want our government leaders to focus and fix America.”
On January 15, Greene reiterated her stance against prioritizing international issues over domestic concerns: “Foreign country’s problems are not our problems. Unaffordable health insurance is our problem. Among many others..”
Marjorie Taylor Greene has represented Georgia’s 14th congressional district since 2021 and has won multiple general elections by significant margins—including defeating Shawn Harris in the 2024 general election with approximately 64% of the vote, Marcus Flowers in 2022 with nearly 66%, and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with almost 75%. Her legislative record includes advocacy for stricter immigration controls and calls for reduced U.S. intervention abroad.
