Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, serving Georgia’s 14th district since replacing Tom Graves in 2021, recently took to social media to express her views on various issues. Greene, who was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, and currently resides in Rome, has been vocal about her stance on national matters.

On June 9, 2025, Greene commented on the deployment of National Guard troops during unrest in Los Angeles. She stated “2,000 National Guard is not enough for the LA insurrection and Democrat led war on America!!! The Democrats brought in over 30,000 National guard troops after a 3 hour mostly peaceful protest at the Capitol on Jan 6, 2021.” She referenced the prolonged stay of these troops post-January 6 events.

Later that day, Greene engaged with a user named David regarding artificial intelligence. She remarked “Hi David, I think the AI discussion is one of the most important issues we can plan for.” Emphasizing her business background in construction and her understanding of labor issues as a Representative.

In another post from June 9th, Greene addressed accusations towards former President Trump. She asserted “Pres Trump isn’t the one burning, rioting, and looting that is the foreign nationals and anarchists YOU protect.” She directed criticism at current governmental actions under President Biden’s administration.

Greene graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
